No More Curls

I finally decided it was time to trim Cole's hair. His curls were getting a little long around his ears and in the back. He did soooo good! He looks so grown up now.

Way to go Carson!

Yesterday Carson learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. When he's ready to do something, he does it. Everything is on his time. His whole life we've had this power struggle over things and I've learned that he'll do it when he's ready. It was that way with talking, wearing socks and shoes, potty training and now riding his bike. Over the weekend he asked for the training wheels to be taken off and so when I took them off I realized his tires were flat. So once we put new tubes in the tires he was ready to go. I basically gave him one push and let go. He did great!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE!

We had a little birthday party for Cole on the 27th of December. We had a fire, the kids made smores and had hot chocolate and cake. Cole loved his own little cake that he was able to "dig into".
I can't believe that one whole year has gone by since we've had our little Cole. He has brought so much joy to our family. I look at him everyday and thank God that he is here.

We made a fire so the kids could roast marshmallows and make smores.

Excited for Christmas

The boys were so excited to decorate for Christmas we actually put the tree up before Thanksgiving. They had to put the ornaments high enough up so Cole can't reach them. So we ended up with ornaments all around the middle of the tree. Oh well, at least they had fun and I just had to do a little rearranging later on.

What kind of face is this?

I found these goofy pictures of Carson after he downloaded my pictures for me. He is so brilliant on the computer and loves taking pictures with my camera. He must have taken these of himself. What a goof ball!

From throwing to kicking...

Cole graduated from throwing the ball to kicking. As soon as he started walking he was picking up the ball and throwing the ball and now he's walking around kicking it. In the video you can here a chirping noise. Carson is pushing a baby chick in his dump truck!

ON THE MOVE

Cole starting walking a couple of weeks ago. He's only 10 months old. I can't believe my baby is already walking. It's so cute, but he's growing up so fast.

My Little Trick-or-Treaters

You can tell Carson is less that thrilled about his costume. He could not decide on anything to wear. In fact, he hates dressing up, but he decided that he would use Tyler's old costume from last year (a policeman). We told him if he wants candy he has to dress up. We went to my Mom's house first and trick-or-treated there and as so as we were finished the costume came off. Poor Cole was so HOT in his frog costume, but I managed to get a few pictures with it on. Tyler loved every minute of it, from being a Suns player to getting tons of candy.

CARVING PUMPKINS

Tyler made a "Cowboys" themed pumpkin.

All of the kids did an awesome job carving their pumpkins. It's becoming tradition that every year we go to Uncle Sonny and Aunt Judy's house for a pumpkin carving party. At the end the "judge" gives out prizes for the best pumpkins. Everyone usually leaves with a prize! The kids love it.

What Cole's been up to lately...

Pushing cars around

walking with his walker

getting into EVERYTHING!!
