HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARSON!

My sweet Carson turned 6 years old. We are so proud of him. He keeps amazing us everyday with how far he has come and what he knows. He has such a brilliant side that is capable of so much. He reads everything and is always coming up with the funniest sayings. He is an awesome student and a wonderful friend, brother and son. He is such a sweetheart. Happy Birthday Carson! We love you!

Tyler for V.P.

Tyler is trying his hand in politics. I wasn't too surprised when Tyler came home last week and said he wanted to run for Vice President of his school. I always thought he would make a great politician! He was sick Thursday night and didn't make it to school on Friday, so he missed out on a day of campaigning. We have to come up with a speech for him to give on Thursday and then on Friday the student body votes. Go Tyler!!

Cole absolutely loved Sea World. He got so excited watching all of the animals. He called all of them "puppies"!

The pictures speak for themselves. Cole is obsessed with playing with any kind of ball. He loves wearing the sports attire too. It's so cute!

Carson

Carson lost his first tooth the first week of school, the only problem is that we can't find it! We had to write a letter to the tooth fairy explaining what happened.

Carson is doing so good in kindergarten. I was nervous about how he would react to the change. His teacher, Mrs. Hilland, said he is talking, playing, and working hard in class. I think he really enjoys going and seeing his friends everyday. Our challenges right now are getting him to eat and to stay awake. He is totally wiped out by the end of the day. I'm so proud of him for as far as he's come. I can't wait to see how much he grows this year in kindergarten.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Ty and Carson started school Wednesday, July 29th. Ty is in 4th grade and Carson started kindergarten. They both did great! Carson was wiped out after the first day and fell asleep on the bus ride home! They love their new teachers. I love being back on a schedule!

STAY-CATION!

This year we decided to take a vacation where we could stay close to home. Cole is not a fan of riding in the car, so we had to come up with a close, inexpensive vacation. It was so much fun and relaxing. The kids loved the water park and of course just hanging out in the hotel room, eating and watching movies. We stayed two nights and the second night the boys stayed with Grammy and Papa. This was the first time that we left Cole all night!

For Tyler's birthday we went camping at Woods Canyon Lake for the weekend. He took his good friend Drew with us and other friends came up for the day. We had a great time camping, fishing, drving r/c cars, making smores and just having fun!
